My 2000 busa will start if I open the throttle a little but it runs rough and will not run long. It sounds like it is starving for fuel but it appears that it is getting too much fuel. The plugs are wet. The fuel pump is working and pumping to 40+ psi. Any ideas on what my problem can be?

If the plugs are wet with gas check the coils and their connection. Faulty fuel pressure regulator causing the cylinders to flood. Fuel pump too.
I would guess fire. Check the coils, wires, and plugs. You could be looking at an ECU.
