2000 Busa stuck at Warehouse

Just my rotten luck. My dealer informed me 2 weeks ago that my new red Busa was picked up at the distribution center in Atlanta and should have been here last week.

I still have no Busa so I called the dealer and he said that there is a problem at their warehouse. Something to do with a problem with the guys who unload and put them together. He said they are refusing to unload the truck load of Suzukis until their problem is resolved.

Man this sucks bad. I was hoping to have her broke in before the ZX-12 gets out so I can settle some debates about which will be faster.Guess I'll go out and thrash my ZX-9 in retaliation until it gets here.

dont force the issue. Either go somewhere else or wait. Its like sending food back at a restaurant..........they are going to f.u.c.k. with it.......eating is one thing riding 180 is another.....................have it checked throughly before riding.............

I've been there!!!!!!!!!!!!!For 1-1/2 months!

My dealer didn't use the same excuse, but I bet that's exactly what it is. My 00 was supposed to be here Dec 15th, I called, again and again, my dealer kept giving me later and later dates.......Finaly just last week I found another bike only 3 hours away. I called my dealer asking if he would pull through soon, and he gave me the same BS. Then I told him about the other bike, and low and behold, OUT OF NOWHERE, he found another bike, and he would positively have it here on the following Wednesday!!!

DO SOME SHOPPING, your dealer is not going to put in any major effort until he thinks you will go somewhere else. Because the bike is not here yet, you dealer doesn't have any money tied up in the bike yet. Sorry about the length of this post, I just feel really strongly about this kind of BS that our dealers put us through.....

I would go somewhere else but I am getting a pretty good deal.I am friends with the sales manager,I should be I've bought three bikes in three years from him,so I dont think hes lying but it is a possibility.

I think Ill start calling him 2 or 3 times a day until he gets tired of hearing from me.
He should get something done this week but if he doesnt I'm gonna give him an earfull.

All I can say is it will be worth the wait when you get it. I FINALLY rode mine home tonite, a copper 99 with 166 miles on it (when I started out for home anyway). Man, talk about a better mousetrap! This bike is worth it, just a beautiful machine!

The dealership I work at is experiencing the same types of problems, Suzuki is usually good at delivering per month on time. We were scheduled to receive (3) blues and (3) reds in the month of January. Only (2) bikes arrived total. This is not the norm and I am sure it is out of the dealers hands. We are just hoping the distribution centers will catch us up with January and February allotments this month. Natives are getting restless . . .

Well I talked with the sales manager today who said he had talked to the warehouse owner. The owner told him he should have the truck unloaded in a couple of days. You know how easy 2 days turns into 2 weeks though.
