Assuming everything is on the up-n-up, I see no reason not to get it. My only other alternative would be to use the $6000 as a down payment on a brand new bike. But with such few miles and so many mods, $6000 is a very good deal.

And just to let you know, if you post that you bought the bike but provide no pic(s) in the post you will be hunted down and killed.

Dude, if you are asking a 2000 owner,, then YES,, the 1999- and the 2000's are the fastest because they were the ONLY unrestricted Hayabusa's available to the market.

Those that have never ridden a raw 1999 or 2000 can't compare or have no idea of what I am talking about.

When I broke my 2000 in when I first got it and after the 2001's were released, I could still pull on the 2001's with marginal difference. There was something to those particular engines and no one has ever been able to discern what it was.

However, as most all know, unrestricting a 2001 or later model only takes installing a TRE or having you GPS modified.
