2000 limited busa?

I've read on Peter lee's hayabusa site that late 2000 busa's were limited. Is it true and if so would a limited late 2000 busa speedo still read 220mph or 185mph?

Just got a E-Mail from Peter Lee. He said if your 2000 busa reads 220 from the factory its the real deal.
