2004 TT - unofficial new lap record

On Wednesday evening, John McGuinness set an unofficial lap record time of 17 minutes and 46.7 secs for the 37 mile road circuit, that's an average speed of 127.3 mph, riding a R1.

He then set a time of 18 mins and 25 secs ave 122.92 mph on a R6.

Quick or what !!!!!

That is simply amazing. Its in my plans to visit the Isle of Man and see the TT someday soon. I can't imagine riding "flat out" in a street situation - unbelieveable!
