2007 Mileage Challenge June

If you have not given me your miles as of June 1st because you were brain dead or just forgot to... here is your chance to get in the Summer Challenge. If you ar starting now, and want to be added to the Yearly Challenge, PM me and let me know to add you to the list.

I am extending the deadline for starting mileage for the Summer Challenge to this Friday 08June2007 for all those who missed out on getting your miles in because I was at the ROT Rally w/o my computer.

Remember there are so far $3000.00 in giveaway prizes that will be awarded at the end of the Summer Challenge!! Most likely... I will be awarding these bonuses during the Fall Bash!

The mileage challenge works itself... sorta. You ride your bike... as much as you can. I make it worthwhile by calling vendors and asking them for free stuff... <h2>FREEBIES!!!!</h2>

Seriously though... send me your current mileage, preferably in a PM. Each month I will do all the math and announce who is the monthly leader for the mileage challenge. You are welcome to join as I have moved the cut-off date to Friday for the Summer Challenge. Anyone getting in later does so without the benefit of being in the JUNE running. Each month I announce the top mileage riders of the month and for the year since 01Jan2007.

I have accumulated $3000 in donations for stuff... this hopefully will offset the mileage for some and increased the enjoyment for others.

Bottom line is that it makes it fun. There are many trips I would have not taken my bike on that I would have driven the cage had I not participated in the mileage challenge for 2006. I started in June for the yearly challenge and made it into the top 5! You can too!!
