I asked if it needed the clutch mod, I was told yes, so I installed one. Im replacing it with the oem cam and see if it helps. Maybe some plates are broken, dont know till I get in it.why is your clutch slipping already?
sad the Busa clutch isnt as good as my 14 was.If you do the clutch mod you definitely need HD springs or spacers. Make sure you put that last friction plate in correctly or they won't last long.
once I figure out whats wrong with mine I might change my mind.IMO, thats not true at all.
I had a bad clutch mod, I installed the 2 piece back in it with no slipping.once I figure out whats wrong with mine I might change my mind.IMO, thats not true at all.

What did you change with the springs when you did your clutch mod. Springs? Spacers with OEM springs?I had a bad clutch mod, I installed the 2 piece back in it with no slipping.once I figure out whats wrong with mine I might change my mind.IMO, thats not true at all.

Lowered.Call Brock's and get the correct 1-piece mod...
You'll wish you got it long ago...
Was your bike 100% stock otherwise....?

I had the clutch mod on my 01 back then, no springs added. I like the oem clutch on my 14, and was hoping the Busa could keep the oem plates and springs.I think that is the problem. The stock hub acts like a lockup clutch. If change to a one piece hub you disable that function. That is the reason Brock puts .180" spacers in the package. You run them with stock springs to increase the plate pressure or run stiffer springs. The spring and stand off combo is also different then the GEN 1 bikes so the springs do not appear to interchange. I have not measured them but the part numbers are different.
