okay i was having a problem with my k8 not going into gear, as if the clutch was bad..problem is the aftermarket clutch lever is the culprit, the shape of the lever was doing the damage, something about not disengaging the master cylinder pin properly

i really like the dayum lever, can someone elaborate on how the design of a lever can do this, and also can the lever be modified, to properly work if possible

I had a problem with the pin in mine...i stopped at a light with only 25-30 miles on the bike,I let the clutch out and it would just sit there,I would rev it up to 6 grand and it would barely go enough to get me off the road, pulled over and messed with it,called the place I bought it from and bit#$ed them out, they came and picked the bike up,guy called me 2 hours later saying it was done, and the pin was out of allignment from the factory...dont they put those levers on when they come out of the crate?...either way it was fixed and under warranty,I was pissed because it was the first nice day in a looooong time, and I didnt get to ride but 5 miles down the road

Pull your lever off dude. Have a look at the slot in the lever and make sure the pin on the clutch master cyclinder is fitted properly into the slot. Dap a little grease on the end of the pin as well as in the slot on the lever. I think your problem will be solved. Also make sure there is no foreign debree in the slot.

You guys gotta stop buying this Yaha Shiki junk.. all this add on doo dad junk is made in China, and most of it looks bad and dont work well

Buy quality parts(I run CRG levers on mine)... You get what u pay for..;)
