2008 top clamp bolts

Is there a trick to remove the four top clamp bolts?

Do you see the little chrome caps? You want to take a knife or razor blade and sloooooowly slide the edge underneath each cap and lift. Once you have broken the position,, you will be able to pry up without effort. Set aside and follow normal procedure to remove and replace. Hope that's what you were wondering?

Got it. Just wasn't sure, and did not want to damage my top clamp. Thanks.
