I hear alot about 240s and 300s is there anything in between. If so, and you have one can you send me a pic of the rear of the bike.

I think I might want a little more than a 240

But that 300 looks Huge.

YES YOU CAN GET AN IN BETWEEN SIZE.
BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
I HAD A 260 ON MY BUSA THE FIRST TIME I WENT WIDE.
IT WAS COOL. BUT NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE 240,OR 250.
I RUN 250 ONLY FROM NOW ON.

THERE ARE 28Os BUT IF YOUR GONNA GO THERE YOU MIGHT AS WELL GO 300
FOR ALL CHANGES THAT WILL BE MADE.
ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT SOME COMPANIES ONLY MAKE CERTAIN SIZES.

METZLER MAKES THE LARGEST RANGE OF SIZES TO DATE AND
IS ONE OF THE ONLY ONE PIECE TIRES OUT.
NOW THAT THE PIRELLI IS OUT THEY ARE OFFEREIN SOME GOOD COMPETITION AND SHOULD DEVELOP MORE LATER.

AVON IS A NICER LOOKING TIRE
IT IS A TWO PIECE BUT COMES IN A WIDE VARIETY
OF SIZES AS WELL.

..................OK TIME FOR ME TO STOP RAMBLING.:poke:

YEp...what he said. 280 is a jackshaft, but for the money might as well bo 300. IF you twist alot stay 240. Other wise just go big. DOnt over do it with the 360.

Michael, what are WE about to do? ???

Well, Its just a thought in the back of my head for now, But I think it will be working its way up to the front before to long.

Thats a pretty big chunk of change. Im gonna have to look at a 240 real close to see if its big enough. If not guess Im gonna do the Big Dog Look and go with a 300.

But like I said, Big Chunk of Change so it may be awhile. But its gonna happen.

Been thinkin bout the stretch & 240 myself but, can't get my hand to reach for wallet???

if you watch ive seen some great deals out there on 240 kits

Just cause there good deals don't mean there Good kits unfortunately th e cheaper kits can be heaver or the also could just not be made of as good of material When looking into the kits don't be afraid to ask many questions.

My 240 kit is gona cost me under $1500 and i have a Trac arm with under bracing. I'm also using a Modified busa wheel so i don't have to spend big money on wheels and from what i hear sounds like the modified busa wheel is gona be lighter then some of them but after i load the bearings spacers, cush and brake rotor i guess we will see. The bear wheel i know weights in at 17lbs

What all should be included in a 240 kit so I know how to price it? Things like Wheel, Tire, Sproket, Chain etc... and do I haft to notch my frame? I own a 08 Busa and believe the 240 is the best of both worlds.

You almost got it. A 240 wheel and tire, the 240 arm, bearings, offset sprocket, chain, longer brake line, Notch the frame, heavier rated suspension spring or air-ride??? think that is it.:beerchug:

I would stick with 240 to keep the bike functional on the curves. 300 is for show... plus them guys are making up for something they are lacking.
