#3 piston gets HOT!!

OK! Everthing was changed from crank to vacuum lines. The problem is the #3 piston gets too hot. Fuel pump, Injectors, fuel rail, map, ecu, plugs, wires, timing, and more have been checked, and we keep coming up empty. Anyone ever have this problem? Anyone have any ideas?
 
Can you tell me how you concluded #3 is getting too hot?

Is it possible that is masking another problem?
 
Only things I can think of that cause overheating of one cylinder are fuel starvation and lack of lubrication.... maybe blockage of the coolant paths through the area?

That's a stretch though.
 
It's cheap, did you replace the #3 plug ? Sounds like we're getting ready to break it back down. Good Luck.
