330 swingarm help

So I just received my roaring toyz 330 osd kit. I'm planning on bolting it on myself and have it all planned out I think. Except one piece. There is a 6 1/4 inch long aluminum piece of 1/2 inch pipe that I'm not positive what it is. I think it's maybe a spacer for the bearings or something but I want to be sure of everything before I get started and get stuck. I've tried to find step by step on here for a swingarm install but that hasn't worked out for me either. Anybody who's done this kit before or seen instructions for it would be a great help...

Hey sweet info thanks. I didn't know it required that much precise tuning. Now I'm for sure doing it myself:bowdown:

So I've ran into a bunch of road bumps with this thing. I found out this is a old style osd from roaring toyz. And occasionally can blow the bearings if not perfectly aligned. And it came with the instructions for the new model, not my old one. Almost got it together but I am about to rivet in the new chain and saw that its going to be rubbing the 330 tire just enough to make me worry:banghead:. I've looked it over several times and I don't think I missed any spacers or anything. Unless your supposed to reuse some of the old parts...

Well now more good stuff, the exhaust on the left wants to go through the middle of the chain too. Don't see any way around it other then converting to a single sided. Just so happens I've got a spare stock exhaust header so I'm cutting the left cadillac out and punching out the stainless steel insert to the right and welding it closed. Voila, now I've got a 4 to 1 slipon system. And if it doesn't work out because compression ratios out something it was a extra so no harm done.

exhaust is finished. Sounds beastly too without the cadillacs. I got in contact with roaring toyz and I'm lucky enough to be only about a hour and a half drive from their shop in sarasota florida. They said they'd finish my installation for free if I bring the bike by the shop. They'd rather that then someone risk getting hurt because I missed a step

Finally finished, just picked her up and she's good to roll. :cheerleader:
Cut my left fairing right and she fit pretty tight but good. Now i just gotta figure out the clearance issue when riding two up. Just myself its absolutly sweet. Im only 5'7 160lbs. But once i stack another rider on the left passanger peg will rub the chain. Tried going real stiff, and short of jacking my feet off the ground its prety high already. Guess air ride is next on the list, was going to be paint but you gotta have priorities ya know... Anybody got any recommendations for a air ride source or brand?

Lets see if this works...

Looking sharp. All you need now is chromed rear sets and passengers or powder coat them black.
