4 into one?

Wanted to find out how many of you have made the 4 into one exhaust modification and what problems or success you had.  I do not want to decrease the airflow at all, looking to increase it. I'm looking at using all Ti on the pipes, need to lighten up the bussa somehow.
The TiForce Exhaust looked sharp, but I wanted carbon on the exhaust it goes better with the bike.
Ideas and comments please.  I have an 04 bussa.

I put a 4 into 1 Muzzy system on my bike. It was an easy install and I am very happy with the system. I have also seen alot of members use BDE Hindle Gen III and they have a carbon can that looks great. Vel Tune sells the system and he has an ad on the home page of the board. You'll drop about 30 lbs with a 4 into 1 system compared to stock as well as increase the flow. You'll need to add a Dynojet Power Comander to reset the fuel injection to compensate for the new exhaust and while your at it you might as well remove the PAIR valve and BDE makes a pair removal kit that has nice fit and finish. Veltune can sell you that as well.

Good Luck

I put a Hindle Titanium 4 into 1 on my 04 busa. As ksheldon mentioned it was a easy install as well. The stock exhaust and the pair valve weighed 34 lbs in total while the Hindle came in around 8 lbs. I forgot to weigh the Hindle but this is what I read it weighs. Definately worth the $$.

OK I got a couple questions on this too. What exactly is an "easy install"? Did you have to cut the fairing in any way? How long did it take? Did it yourself or had someone do it for you? Thanks for your input!

No fairing cutting are needed to install a full system.
Yes its easy enough with the help of this board. goto MOD.
section and read.thats what i did.

yeah may not necessarily increase the volum of flow with a 4-1 but you will increase the exit velocity and increase scavenging which will in turn increase hp.

The Hindle BDE Gen III with the glowjob from warbaby.....very nice stuff......ask bulletTrain to show ya some pics, or go see the Veltune website off the link on the front page!!!!
I personally run the HMF BigBird.....just cuz I love the menacing look, and that seriously raunchy sound.

Possible 24 pounds in saving sounds worth it to me. Have any pic BLKBLU04? Would like to see what it ended up looking like. The wet weight of the bussa is 550 pounds stock, would like to get the wet weight under 500 this sounds like a big step. Not sure if under 500 is even possible.

Very cool, I like that look my bike is black and purple 04, so either choice would look good. Do you know how much heavier the Carbon adds over the Ti? I'm thinking the Ti is the way to go, and it look good too.

Blu88 that looks nice going to do the same thing on mine thank you everyone for the advise. Blu88 how does it sound? Any sound clips?

1.  Scavenging will decrease HP and torque at low rpm.

2.. If someone tells you that a system raises HP, I would look at the dyno sheet and see where you actually pick it up.  If you gain 10HP at 10,000 RPM, but lose 15 in the mid-range where you ride most of the time, I would say that was a bad thing.  I would use the dyno sheets and pick the one that fits your riding style.

3.  The average dyno run is incorrect, since our Busa's use a ram air induction system and on the dyno they are not getting that.  So if you see a dyno run that closely mirrors the factory dyno specs, it was probably faked.  A stock 04 Busa, without the ram air being inducted (on a stationary dyno) is producing about 130 hp.  If the exhaust manufacturer is claiming max HP higher then the stock 157, then he is saying that you are picking up over 27 horses.  If you doubt them, call them and ask them if their dyno is blowing air at 180 MPH into the front of the Busa, and when they say no you'll know they are full of sh*t.
