Hi Busians, I fixed my Busa 09 after a crash, and tell you guys, I hate crushing but the experience of doing everything myself is priceless. Now I am thinking to "affordably" replace my stock exhausts to 4 to 2 to 1 type but I do not want to loose performance or drop ponies in this operation... suggestions welcome.

"affordably" ??
If $850 up is affordable.......
BDE GenIII pipe is prolly about the best for an all around stock bike. There are several great pipes out there. It will need to be tuned when you install the pipe. You will also loose weight with an aftermarket pipe.
Just putting the pipe on will usually not cause you to loose HP, but won't make much more until tuned correctly.

Tiby-

I have been running a Two Brothers system for the last two years, and I am very happy with it- inserts are available to adjust sound level, and it is a deep and throaty sound. I tried all sorts of different exhaust systems before I finally settled on the 2 Bros. Good performance, lightweight, good sound. I have logged lots of miles with the system- my '08 Busa is a sport touring monster. I've seen their systems for $800-$900 area:

Thanks guys.
El Gato, I like your bike...clean & nice. How about performance?
Brock is actually cool but very noisy.

Do not forget the Power commander or flashing that is needed also with that mod.......

The 2 Bros shows an increase in performance, but you will need to run a PC to realize any gains. I ran a Db meter by my bike yesterday for kicks, and I'm guessing that it is about as loud as a Brock's system. I don't know how Brock's measures their pipes, but mine is a lot louder than I thought it was.
