4 weeks!

well, my nice shiney new busa lasted 4 weeks before some spotty little git managed to hit it whilst parked up causing £2,000 ($3200 to the majority)

of damage. Quote of the day came from a taxi driver when i came out of the cafe with murder in mind "go on,punch him - you know you want to!". serious sense of humour failure today

That's just terrible, Sean! Sorry to hear about the damage and hope it can be repaired easily and quickly and get you back out on the damage! Obviously, the individual did not stick around to find you or leave you a note did they?

Iwas sat in a cafe having a coffee and the bike was parked out side when I heard the alarm go off( most of the insurance companys here specify you must have an alarm on the big bikes or they wont insure you!) I shot outside and the guy was just getting out of his car. I was fuming, and bearing in mind I'm 6'3" with a skinhead I think the bloke nearly wet himself. his insurance should pay,but its only 4 weeks old and its taken the newness out of it now!plus this weekend we have a bank holiday and we usually have about 30,000 bikes come down to Hastings. we normally ride up near London and travel back with a load of others which I can't do now.

Laws are a bit strange. Should be allowed to beat the poop outta the guy, then take his insurance info. This is only for vehicles that are 4 weeks old are less.

I honestly hate hearing of any incidents involving our bikes. Not because we praise them, but because it's a source of enjoyment for us. It's like having sex without a partner...

Yeah, that... BLOWS... I do think there should just be a "Two For Stupidity" rule... Some one thrashes your bike outta Brute Stupidity and you get two free shots...

This accident sounds like something outta Ogri though...

I worry about this sorta thing here in Tampa quite a bit, I have found myself parking in the wierdest locations just so I can keep an eye on the bike... Or I park it up between a couple of barricades or something like that, and they make Mall Sidewalks really big with all of them handicapped ramps... I just park it near the "Bike" rack...

I hope everything gets squared away for you though man seriously...
