44 and a 6

Well the Busa is back together after the NOS explosion. Had a chance to take her on a ride with the 44 and the new 6 inch over arm.....I'm impressed. Bike pulls really hard (grin). Launching may be a problem cause it hits harder and.... I'm still a pussy. Bike will still wheelie in second...nose wasn't strapped, but the arm is doing it's job. Hey, the extension makes the suspension work a lot better and didn't really notice that it upset any normal handling on regular curves.

Hang that front end up there, it won't flip. I leave at about 6k and throw the clutch, it comes up, but not bad, pops up and right back down again on the 1-2 shift and that's it.

That's exactly what I want to (6K and pinned). Now if the bike and my pucker factor will cooporate...we'll be cutting some good 60' times

You'll get used to it. i have to learn how to ride again every time I get to the track. Usuallytakes me about 5 passes to remember what to do.....Best 60' I ever had was 1.51, most are high 1.5's/low 1.6's. I'm calling the track right now to see if they're gonna be open tonight. Interested?

Frisbee - using 40 shot that's all. Looks like all that does for me is boost trap speed by about 4 -5 MPH. Since I don't spray it until hitting 3rd gear...then all thru 4th. I run low 140's on motor and mid to high 140's on the spray. 60' time is the key.........

Mr. Brown - didn't see post until this morning. Had honey-do stuff (yard sale).......was too tired to do anything after carrying what seems like hundreds of boxes of stuff from the basement.....at lease I sold my kids dirt bike....that was a plus.

do what mr.brown said, hang that front end out there.it'll come down during your shift points. the front feels like its higher than it really is because of the launch.the bike squats hard off the line and it feels like the bike is 6ft off the ground. lol, made a pass yesterday and ask my wife how high did the front end come up and she laughed and said that my foot wouldn't fit under the front tire.usely leave around 5000 0r 5500 but i'm not as big of guy as mr.brown i'm only 240.just do what feels good to you and don't forget to strap that front end it helps with the wheelie part off the line.just let the clutch slip off your fingers and a little practice you'll be cutting some great 60 ft times, then nos will make a difference. i had the same problem higher speed and no difference in my time, but i got a progressive box now set at 20% with a 2sec delay then a 100% after, boy that feels good.my switch was on the starter button but that just complicated things for me so i put it on the throttle.full throttle and it's on .got to love it.just remember your not the 1st person to drag race and be nervous to hit the throttle off the line theres a lot of us out there that had to get there confidence up to do it,and some never do they just sit back and watch. but atleast your a doer and not a by stander, feels good huh?

Thinking about the two step....yeah, that's the ticket

I'm going to have to make an "extend hump" just to get all the "extra" stuff up under there......................
