92-98 yamaha seca 2 600 torque specs.

Hey guys:

Havent been on the board much. Karen bought a used motorcycle... a 94 yamaha seca 2 600 to learn how to ride on. I have been going through the bike for the past week, and finding a lot of little things wrong. What I dont have is the torques of everything that I took apart. Like front and rear rotor torque specs, front and rear axle torque specs,....etc I didnt know if anyone of you may had or still have a Seca 2 or service manual laying around! I have looked on line, but only to buying the book! Haynes or Clymer!

Well if ya got the bike you ought to have the manuel.

I would guess 20 ft pounds on the rotors and blue locktite.

I dont disagree with getting the manual. But it is her bike, not mine! But like here... there are ways to get this info without having to buy the book.

Yeah... been working on that yamaha too long! My first sport bike was a fzr 600 yamaha, so this bike brings back thoughs feeling! I did ride a friends seca 2 during that time too! Same color and year as hers! And yes first place I came for help! Got to love the org!!!!! Helping each other out! What goes around comes around!
