My dad has been riding bikes since I have been alive and has been in a riding club at a local dealership for years. He told me tonight about a woman in his group that is getting an award next week from Yamaha for putting 200,000 miles on her bike. I have met her several times and if I am correct it is a yellow TLR 1000. She has gone on trips all over the country and rides all the time... I thought it was pretty neat to see someone get recognized for such an accomplishment...

Anyone ever put 200,000 on a bike, heck even 100,000 ???

There is a guy on a local forum around here with 275k on his cbr600 f4i..... Any kind of mileage like that is CRAZY impressive. Congrats to her.

One of our non-active members has 110,000 on his 08 Busa.

Am I the only one that noticed he said Yamaha and TL. The TL was made by Suzuki.... Congrats to her. I will never come close to that. Ever. Lifetime. Combined total.

And the same bike, 3 years after this vid  (I added a few updates to the end of it recently, after the original vid was made in 2010)

That's my bike.... she's currently sitting at 231,200 and change, running strong as ever, and ridden daily. Still looking somewhat decent too, lol.... from 2 weekends ago, out enjoying some of NC's finest with my good friend Scott
