Learning to edit with multiple videos and multiple music selections. Now I have a better apprectiation for the editing folks. It's not as easy as it looks. :banghead:

What software are you using? I'll make 3-4 passes through each raw video to edit out the scenes I want to keep. Then comes the fun of sequencing the scenes from different cameras together in the correct order. When doing Picture in Picture stuff, the added task of aliging the timing of every stream showing on the same frame. Then finding the right music to go with the video, location, and group. Good thing it's something I enjoy doing :)

I'm using Windows Movie Maker. I'm sure it not professional grade, but just deciding which part of the video to use on the fly doesn't help. It's a learning process, so Hollywood won't be calling any time soon.

I use Windows Movie Maker as well. Yep, looking at 2-3 hours of raw video from each of 2-4 cameras and cooking it down to a 10-15 minute video is a challenge. I try to find segments with a lot of things going on like multiple bikes taking multiple corners or unique scenery in the background. I know that's not really possible to do on a solo run where you are taking video to learn with. The new WMM has some cool title effects for the opening and animations to use between clips.

Here's a recent one I did. I like to stick with the same title and animations. You'll find your own style.
