Not dissin' on the Busa, but if you think a Busa can out handle a Mille R, you are nutz!!! The Busa will spank it on a straight away, but it a road course and twistie bits, the Mille R is about as good as it gets...

Try Nicks bike......might change yer mind Doc

Tuonos rule folks, no joke, and that one is an R version that is indeed rare. Not to be confused with a Mille R version that is not rare at all. In fact the Tuono R is more rare than the new '04 Factory Mille (replaced the old R version, now the standard verion Mille is called R, at least for '04 - kind of silly).

Tuono - awesome fun!
Tuono R - as cool as it gets and more fun/better suspension etc.
Old Mille - now the Mille R
Old Mille R - now Mille Factory (really sweet!)

I had not heard that Aprilias are hard to maintain though. Hmmm. I still want a Tuono. They rock!

I've rode with Nick a few times in LA, he is a great rider, but I have seen him get beat through the twisties by a BMW!!!

I am not trying to put a tear in your beer, but there is a reason that Mille's are used on the track and Busa's are not. Likewise, you see a lot of Busa's at the strip and not many (any) Mille's...

Sorry...

As for a second bike I had a 03 gix750 and loved it (before it got stolen), granted I like the busa more but it was a perfect second bike.

After I sell one of my Busa's, that is probably my next ride. I like other bikes more, but for the price and insurance and performance, I agree that the gsxr750 is a winner!

Ask Nick if you don't believe... Big O and I both witnessed it. Hey, some of the fastest bikes in those twisty canyons are BMWs... low center of gravity, big handlebars, etc.

Back to the original statement, if you guys think a Busa can out handle an Aprillia Mille R, you are smokin' crack...
