Is it any indication of how well the header is seated by how much difference there is in the amount of raised portion sticking out of the flange?, my gut feeling is they should all be about the same, but I did not want to hit them too hard. I am using a 1lb. dead blow hammer.

It started getting dark so I just stopped. I will work on it more tommorrow...then Saturday it is off to the Texas Mile.......just to watch.

Thanks Eric. Looking at the pics...I need to clean off that grime:laugh:

wd-40 works wonders for putting a slip-fit together. just be ready for the smoke when you're done!

Make sure you clean the pipes very good from oils on your hand before starting up or it will bake on and look like chit!

Looks good! Tightening the bolts should seat the gaskets pretty well. Enjoy!
