Alrighty, i run to autozone and peice together an LED kit...

Containing

Toggle switch

2x 16 inch LED bar
2x 14 inch flexy bar

ok, so i slap the flexy bars up under the under tail, then up under front wheel well area. wire it up to the switch, then boom it works lovely. Then i get under there and find a choice spot for the 2 bars and lay them up, wire them in, Test. and it works...then tonight i tried to test them in the dark to see how unbelievably sexy it is..and nothing, the switch dont even glow when switched on. so, the hell? any ideas as to why? i checked the wires, everything is connected well.

Bypass your switch and hook straight to the batt. If they work, you have a bad toggle. Or if you have a test light, start at the batt and cont. on at every connection until you get no power to the test light. Should only be between the batt and no further than the connection from the toggle to the lights. If all is good there, make sure you still have a good secure ground.

I would take off the last two lights you put on and see if it works again you may have wired something wrong on those, if it was working fine before. If the first couple start working again then you know where the problem is. I'm assuming you wired them in parallel. If in series the first couple will probably work but then when you added the others it was to much and they all went out. If you do this with regular light bulbs the first few will be bright and then as you go down the line they get dimmer and dimmer. Maybe with the LED'S they just simply go off. Good luck:thumbsup:

individually test each light with a seperate battery ( a cordless drill battery will work for convenience) then at least you will know they work and the wiring is the problem. Also a cheap toggle is likely the culprit and don't forget to check if there is an inline fuse that came with the leds bars.

Ahhh ha AHHHH HAAA i got it, woo, ok

The switch is made to handle 2 12 volt lights.

I had 4 wired to it, thus blowing the fuse.

So all i gotta do is re wire with 2 switchs :D

Thats a crappy toggle.. ???
I have a gazillion leds hooked to 1 toggle and all works great..

Get a toggle switch with no fuse, rated for 10A or more. Wire a 5A fuse between the battery + and switch. That way you can upgrade the fuse if you need to add more. It's not likely you will ever need more than a 5A fuse with LEDs.

This should help answer all your questions...sadly.

LEDs are polarity sensitive. you most likely wired one backwards by mistake. i'd check power and ground then look at them all for being backwards possibly.
