A Question About Aftermarket Stuff

I've got a Corbin seat and I wasn't sure that I liked it untill I put the stock one back on. The front comes up the tank about 3 more inches than the stock which sets me back a little. If you do get one I would say get black piping if any at all. The blue they use is light and dull.
I've also got the Second Look tank skin and that blue is also very bland.

Paul, both the Sport Tour and the DB work. They are both small, so you will have to crouch to get protection with either. The Sport Tour just has a little more height and width. Neither has any negatives that I am aware of. I went with the ST because I didn't want to have to put my face flat on the tank at high speed to get any protection from the wind.
Concensus seems to be that the Pilot Sports are the best. I use them and like them.
The Brock clutch mod was the most effective improvement on my bike.
A radar detector is a must. I'd ride without my helmet and boots before I'd ride without my Valentine 1. I've heard a few people say that jammers work, but all of the tests I've read aren't very impressive. Beyond that, I don't know.

Check out the Bagster tank cover and tank bag system at bagster.com. Dirty Pete turned me on to it. Very classy, although the TankSkinz are a bit flashier. depends on what you want.

The pilots are the best out there right now. I use em. Im getting 700 more miles on my rear tire than OEM. They grip great........!!

Jammers dont work...........car and driver did extensive tests on these and found that they were basically useles. Valentine 1 is the way to go. I havent even been pulled over in 12,600 miles............nuff said. I do speed ocassionally..............

I want to keep my engine and overall appearance stock. After all the bike looks great and it makes more power than I can handle as it is. But I would like to make a few practical upgrades and I hope you guys can coach me here.
-I'd like to get the slipstream out of my face. Is the zero gravity double bubble or sport touring model better?
-Are Michellin Pilot Sports the best tire choice?
-What about tank bra's and seats?
-We all need radar/laser protection but detectors are a pain and tuff to mount. What about a jammer?

A question about the Valentine....Detectors are illegal in AZ and if they see it they will pull u over how visible are they? I havent seen one, also how much are they?

Thanks guys! I ordered the ZG shield and a set of pilots. Also ordered a Suzuki Bus gel seat...something about the look of the corbin seat I didn't like. Now I'm off to Bagster.com to check out the tank covers. Thanks for the help!!
