Just read Andy Whitfield who played Spartacus in "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" has just died, he was 39 years old.
He was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer 18 months ago, and was preparing for the second series when he got ill.
He leaves behind a wife and two children.
RIP.
If anyone has not seen this series, I highly recommend it, I think it's brilliant, also the prequel "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" is just as good.
They've got a new guy Liam McIntyre to play Spartacus in the new series.
If you've not seen these two series please watch them you won't regret it. Just remember watch " Spartacus: Blood and sand" first.
