Adjustments

I bought a 04 Busa w/ 550 miles on the odometer. I am now at 1200 miles and when I put the bike in neutral hear a slight grinding noise (gearbox maybe?). When I push the clutch lever in, the noise goes away. Do I need to have the clutch/gears adjusted, fluids changed, or is this just part of the engine break-in?

where on gods green earth did you find a 04 busa with 550 miles on the clock? Grinding noise in neutral... i wouldnt call that normal... if it is an 04 and the oil hasnt been changed or it wasnt ridin for a long time you might have some issues in the clutch or tranny or both... Change the oil if it hasnt been done yet. Check the tires for dry rot too.. dont want one of them coming apart on you while your riding.

Also, what RPM is the idle set at when at operating temp?

There is a little bit of gear like noise but nothing to worry about unless its loud.
