So I am pulling the TiForce 4-2-1 Titanium off my 2007 and putting on a Turbo. I was about to put the TiForce up for sale, but then found out that it 'should' fit on my 2013. Right now my 2013 has the free Dual CF Yoshi's that I got for buying the bike. I'm really not trying to make the 2013 into a rocket (more than it already is) since that's what the 2007 will be for. However, if the TiForce is a better route to go and won't cost me much of anything to do then I might just sell off the dual Yoshi slip-ons instead. Here's my thinking on the Ti-Force:
Pro
- Little more power
- Little better mileage?
- Lighter
Con
- Have to figure out O2 sensor thing - I think there's a part for like $25 that tricks it, right?
- Might need to buy a PCV or Bazzaz to handle the change in A/F? If that's the case then I'll likely just dump the TiForce
- Was never excited about the TiForce fit on my 2007 which now has some melted spots on the fairing, so assuming first two 'cons' are non-issue this still could be the deal-breaker
Any recommendations or anything else I'm not considering?
