ADVICE on MIRRORS needed

When i got my 22, the mirrors were removed and block off plates installed. I want to put the stock mirrors back on.
How much is involved? Do they have captive nuts, or do I have to take the front end apart?
TIA for any advice you have, from experience

On further investigation, the mirrors have threaded bolts sticking out of them which means you have to put the bolts on from underneath which means I have to take the fairing off.

Unfortunately, yes.
I don't mind taking it apart, it's getting it back together properly that concerns me

It's an easy task even for someone who has 0 mechanical experience. For help with steps and pictures you can check the service manual which you can find here : Suzuki OEM version or the PDF Version

Remove windscreen, inner panels, gauge trim, and gauge cluster. Walk in the park. Check Oneida Suzuki in New York for rear view mirrors or any other vendor you are comfortable with.

Dude, I bought my first Busa from Dominic at Oneida Suzuki. A 2000 blue/silver. I still remember riding it home that day. He gave me a great deal too, best price around CNY.
