I did budget buildup of my 08 Busa. Got 202 HO on the dyno, it needs a little more tweeking and were gonna bump the fuel pressure. All in all a nice number so far.

It made 174 HP before the changes, The bike ran 9.02 @151 MPH with our pro rider, on a horrible hottt day in Florida. 20 degrees cooler and less humidity and we would have gone 8.90 easy.

We will see how it runs..;) feels a little spicy tho..;)

Our dyno here in Sarasota is very conservative, and if you bring a bike that sez 195hp somewhere else it will say 175 here. IT's all relative.

Go to aperacingparts.com I figure if you do all the assembly yourself ( which I will do) it would cost around 3,200 bucks. Not bad.

Nothing but Teka box tuning(No PC). I needs some more fuel pressure, we didn't see any more gains towards the top of the adjustment curve, so that tells us there not enough fuel. It will go 208 or so with more tuning.

Runs on 93 no problem, Dynoed on 93 pump junk.

Full details are as follows:

84 bore O-ringed by me
JE 14.5 pop ups.. slight dome, they're perfect.
2 08 Intake cams
Adjustable Cam sprockets
Pistons Teflon coated skirts and ceramic coated tops(For later)
Competitive edge porting and chamber clean up(this stops detonation)
Removed secondary butterflies.

Runs like a watch and starts hot no problem. no overheat issues in Florida summer days.

Chuck Wilburn in Tupelo,MS can build you a 1440 bike that puts down 215HP he uses Rick Ward for the head and cam package. Think he charges $4500 and thats drive in drive out with him doing the labor. He has a very conservative dyno also. These bikes that are claiming 230-245HP on motor put out usually 200-215HP on his dynojet 250. Hes a great builder and and honest guy to work with if anybody is interested. 662-840-4488
