Aftermarket cams

Ready to upgrade my exhaust (Brock's) and played with the idea of different cam setup before I get it re-tuned.
I called APE to order an intake for the exhaust side and the salesman said I wouldn't gain that much with that setup (Gen2 Busa basically). He recommended I go with aftermarket. Anyone running aftermarket cams in a B-king?
My thing is...I don't want to go so radical that I need springs, retainers and shorter guides. The cost is too much for my budget.
Any suggestions?

The King is tuned to give awesome low end pull without sacrificing hardly any peak power at all compared to the busa engine. Your brocks pipe is going to give you a big boost in power already......cams will give you more peak power, but take away from the bottom. I love the busa/Kings low end grunt, my fav part of the engine. I would just try the pipe for now and see if you still think you need more.

I think you have the right idea, Big Red, I might spend my money somewhere else...
Brock's exhaust, Multi-stage clutch or maybe a swingarm
OR all of the above :laugh::laugh:
There goes my budget out the window!!!

I was wondering the same thing. I never see anyone talking about aftermarket cams for the Busa. Id love to upgrade my cams without having to swap out the valve train.

Seems there is no in between cams...goes from "stock" straight to "you'll need a loan to get the rest of the parts just to run these cams AND don't forget the port work to get the most out of them".
Sucks for us on a budget
