Aftermarket exhaust that's quieter than Alienhead

Really like the look of it bro(and I like noise:D).As far as power/wt. go,I believe Brock said about a hp or 2 gain,wt. is pretty close(think my Short Meg is around 8.5 lbs. give or take).I'd mainly be buying it for the looks, but have to justify an extra $1500 even if I sold mine for $500(since I'm lucky to even put a 100 miles on mine in a month, still running tires I had put on 4 or 5 years ago this month, think I have 3,800 miles on them:laugh:).

3800 in five years?!? I put more than that on mine in two months lol

I think I'm gonna take an impromptu trip to florida this month. Haven't decided yet.

Beware of that humidity if you aren't used to it bro,I lived down there for about a year(Indian Harbour Beach/Melbourne) and it was brutal!:crazy:As long as you keep riding though you'll probably be ok.:D

Careful on those old tires bro , even if carefully parked up in sheltered environment , the rubber compound deteriorate / harden etc. over time . Could be a good time to freshen her up with a new set of hides to go with that CT Meg bro !! Be all set and ready to give Red a bit of a roll on whupping when you are next out enjoying your bikes new waspish note !! :race:

I'd be all for Akrapovic if it was titanium.

Aside from weight savings, the ti Akrapovic(discontinued) is no different than the stainless steel.
I had the full dual Akrapovic, with ss header and cf mufflers. Excellent exhaust in every way. Their full single is just as good, if you prefer only one muffler.
And the bright Akrapovic logo is just a metallic sticker that easily peels off, for anyone like me who doesn't prefer it.
With the baffle(s) in, the sound is very stock and quiet throughout the rpms.
Baffle(s) out, and they have a very unique and deep tone, louder than stock, but nowhere near obnoxious or attracking the wrong kind of attention.
When the Toad rips his Brocks Busa, he can just disapear into the outback.
Here, I don't like to leave a noise trail to be followed, just the wind as I vanish, lol.

I have two brothers vale shorty on mine. Nice low growl not too loud but scream at high rpms. Only problem is it was being repaired at a body shop after a guy ran a stop sign and hit me so I told them I didn't want the stock back. Told them two brothers and the ordered the wrong ones vale shorty is for gen1 mine is a gen2 so they don't fit perfectly.
