Aftermarket fairings

I had a misfortunate get-off on my '03 Bus last fall. Cracked the tail section into about 4 peices, and fairly deep road-rash on it. I ended up tossing the part.

Now I am at a cross-roads.
Options:
-Buy new suzuki part from dealer (~$400), last choice
-Check Egay (most are going for ~$150, but they usually are broken or rashed)
-Buy aftermarket ($160 + shipping from Badazzbikes.com).

Has anyone ever had or heard experiences buying fairing parts from badazzbikes?

I have sharkskinz on my '01 R6 and was very happy, but the rest of the fairings on my Bus are good, and I'd rather keep it all plastic instead of glass.

Any comments suggestions would be appreciated!

Replace the part.  You can find parts from this board I am sure.  I cracked my rear before (thanks) I custom painted the bike.  Found a tail from my buddy no marks are scuffs.  I got a great price and then painted it.  Lots of wind tunnel work went into the Busa and the tail is part of the over all work.

Also check out he classifieds.

The ones from Suzuki are painted the factory color and scheme of your bike and have the decals on them. If you buy aftermarket you will need to paint them unless you do not care if they are painted or not. Also, for me personally, I like the plastic over the fiberglass. My bike is custom painted so I bought scratched plastic and just had it painted.

I checked all over the web for a new tail section for the best price. I found factory farings, all painted with the stickers already on for $280 at Oneida Suzuki. I'm not real crazy about them, so I called up my dealer locally and he said he'd meet their price, so I pick up plastics tomorrow. Give your local dealer a chance to meet a price, you might be surprised.
