Hello,
I just purchased a used Akropovic Evolution 4to1 Titanium.
Do not know that much about the pipe and do not see to much about them on the board. Was just wanting to get some opinions on it. Also does anyone know how more HP and torque should I get in general. Also how much weight will I shave from stock.
Thanks

Have same setup.weight savings over stock 15-25 lbs
horse power generally between 10to 15hp depends on
your set up.

Stock exhaust weighs around 34 lbs. Akropovic Evolution weighs about 11.5. With a good map by a tuner and STOCK filter (flows best) you should see 7%-10% increase. I would also consider an airbox mod and pair removal.

Thanks for the info!
What is a pair valve? I hear about it but do not know what it is and what it does.
Thanks,

Pair valve is a pollution device that pumps air into the engine. It tends to make the bike backfire with aftermarket exhaust. Its fairly easy to take off, but you'll need to get block off plates if you're gonna do it. Check either schnitz racing or BDE. I think they are around 24.00 for the plates. Make sure you get the gaskets too. Also a little tip I got too late....If you arent plannig on removing your radiator when you do this place a piece of carboard over it so you dont jack up the fins. You got a really great exhaust pipe. I would guess the reason your dont hear that much on this board about them is because there so dam EXPENSIVE.

Weight savings is 18lbs 20 for a California model. You will need a power commander. With the right map and a few other mods you could easily pick up 15-20+HP.
