I was excited about winning the HID raffle (thanks again cache) so I when out in the garge and started tinkering with the busa. It was a nice night, around 70, so I decided to finally remove the flapper in the air box. I didnt do the full mod by cutting the opening out, just removed the flapper. I took it for a test ride and didnt notice a whole lot of difference in riding it until I did a power wheelie. Before I was kinda like before you gas it and the front wheel barely comes up or it comes up real fast. Now it seem like the off-on thing has gone away, it just comes up nice and smooth. I thought it was a rare thing so I tried it again and the same thing, nice and smooth. I was just wondering if my mind playing tricks and I am just getting better at wheelies or did removing the flapper smooth everything out since there is nothing to open to cause a sudden change in power? Has anyone else experienced this or am I crazy??
