Air Ride Problems

Hello everyone, I"m in the Military and I just had my bike shipped to Germany, and the problem that I am having is that my air ride will not go back up. The company that shipped my bike hit the switch and the rear tail is now sitting on my rear tire. The question I have is, is my air ride system broken, can it be fixed, or should I just get a new one. Thank you for any help.

to the board. SInce I was in the military and had stuffed wrecked during shipment. It is broken, make a claim get get a new one, then worry about seeing if the old one can be fixed. If it can spend the money to fix it and then sell it or keep it. Win win situation!!!

Do you hear any air when you toggle to raise?
Do you hear the compressor run/ hum?

No and or No, check the connection to battery.
If yes and/or yes, look for broken air line..where the air hissing sound is coming from.

Yes file a claim, but then you will be waiting to ride. Check these things and could be a quicky and go ride.

O- and get yourself some adjustable althread lower links. Adjust them so when NO air...the tail sits just off the tire. Could be a big life saver if riding and a line blows out!!!!

get a tiger tail too. you can drop down as low as the bike will go, and the tire will still roll. hell, i could've ridden mine with NO suspension links, lol

Welcome to the .org! Help is only a few key strokes away if you ever need the help again. Have you been able to figure out what is wrong with the air ride? Keep us posted on what you do.

Hello guys, yes I found out what the problem was. Been that it's so cold over here I was in a rush, and I did not see the cable that ran to the switch hidden between the other wires. So I hooked that wire up to the battery and it worked. But yesterday was a nice day so I took my time and hooked everything back up. Now I just need some new tires and a Brock Alien Head exhaust system and everything will be fine. Thanks again guys.

Hey BigRod1300, where can I get the lowering links you are talking about from, and the same for you ogre where can I get the tiger tail ?
