Air Shifter?

What is the best Air Shifter Kit to get. I have been researching but i don't want to have to cut hack up my wiring too much. I'm sure it will be easier to install then i am giving it credit.

I personally like the cycle-tek kits. Good results so far. With co2 you get a ton of shifts before having to re-fill the bottle. The other route is a compressor and a tank which doesn't give you nearly as many shifts, but in a sense, you never run out.

Someone remind me of the name of the one that uses N2O and has RPM windows for auto shifting.

there's a couple that can be modded to run n2o.

Electric I think pingel still may have one, I wanna say translogic, dynojet, and I think there's another...

d of 3 - cmon' you're the search god... I would have expected at least one or two links... lol

I can't say that I have seen an electric that I like because of the bulk. Dynojet does not actually make the shift, only items that provide the kill. You can use the accessory hub from dynojet to activate the autoshift. Boost by Smith makes a pretty nice autoshift, launch light, shift light setup using Harlan components that is plug and play. That is what I am running now. I prefer the optional Harlan Light tube with 7 LEDs instead of the standard 4 led.

You can use a PCIIIusb for the autoshift kill. You should be able to use it with the accessory hub to kill, autoshift, and shift light. Time will tell ;)

I think CO2 is the way to go, it would be easy to plumb into a nitrous system if you have one. It looks like I will be able to 500-700 shifts out of a 9oz bottle, but I swap it about every 200 anyhow.
I'm using some of cycle-tek parts on mine. He has a nice harness setup that is mostly plug and play.

+1 Only choice as far as I'm concerned. The Cycle Tek is way cheaper than the others and works flawlessly. I can easily get two to three weeks of shifts out of my C02 bottle as long as I remember to turn the regulator off when not using it. Any paintball place can fill your CO2 tank for $5.

Customer service is awesome - Matt has also helped me with tons of questions that didn't have anything to do with his air shifter kit.

Matt's system can also be made to autoshift if you use it in conjunction with the Boost by Smith shift light or two step.

i have an MPS airshifter with a Gatlin bracket that connects to the stator cover (hides the whole thing) have an onboard air compressor...press a botton, fill the tank to 120psi and get about 25-30 shifts, then refill in 10sec...I LIKE IT!!

i just put a cycle-tek on mine-- great product matt is always available to answer questions ---co2 is only way to go when you price some of the other ones its the best deal around 2 bucks to fill bottle at local scuba store last for weeks

I have the MPS kit with the auto box. You plug in the desired RPM where you want the shift to occur and it happens. I also have an onboard air compressor to handle the air supply. Now that I've got a good supply line it works great!!
