I removed my airbox tonight to put a couple of long stacks in it, reinstalled the airbox, making sure that everything was plugged in correctly. Bike started up right away and I drove it up and down the street just to make sure everything was fine. I pull into the garage and just when I'm about the shut the bike down, I blew a fuse--the one for fuel--and the F1 light came on. I replaced the fuse, removed the airbox and re-did everything to make sure nothing was out of place. Started up the bike; and it seems to run fine. Still, I'm worried about what could have caused the fuse to blow in the first place. Any guesses or is it just one of those things? I've removed the airbox at least twice before without a hitch, so I'm sure that I know how to get it back together. The only thing different this time, aside from the longer stacks, is that I cut about 1.5 inches off the crankcase hose because it was kinked the way it normally is installed. It seems to run hotter, but I'm not sure if that means anything.
