Akropovic dual and exhaust wrap

I installed the Akropovic dual exhaust last weekend. I love it! Great sound and the power seems to be a lot more even throughout the power range.
My question is: It seems to put out more heat than the stock exhaust. I've read that heat wrap corodes your pipes. I don't think stainless or titainium have the a problem but I'm not sure what the Akropovic headers are made of. Does anyone have any idea if heat wrap would be a good idea?

I always have a exhaust systems wrapped. I had an akra full titanium system wrapped for years. No problems at all.
