Albany NY Busa Newbie

I picked up my 2000 blue/silver hayabusa last Friday for $9999 + tax from a little shop in eastern NY. Previously I owned a '93 gsxr1100 and before that another '93 gsxr1100 which was stolen (no theft insurance-waaa!).
I thought my 1100's were ballsy but this thing gives a new meaning to the word balls!

Congradulations! I live only an hour west of you, in Johnstown. We'll have to get together some time, there is some great riding near here in the Adirondak park. Later...

Sounds great Supermax! I'm waiting on my stem stand, Valentine radar detector and some temps above 32 before I do too much more riding. This bone stock Hayabusa is a speeding ticket waiting to happen!

Hapo would very much like to hook up with you two...I am sure a few others might be also...you are less than 90 min. from me...even closer to some of the other impromptue members of La Busas East...some live right near rt 90 and are less than an hour from Albany...

Sounds great, the more the merrier! I have had my Busa for 3 weeks now and have ridden 1500 miles already! But, I am quite a fanatic since I did 20,000 last year! I go to all the events around here, Americade, Laconia, Super Sundays and such. And I'm always looking for people to go. Of course I ride just about every weekend too. Its great being 26 and single!

You guys are making me home sick. My first 21 years were in the Hudson Falls area(40 miles N of Albany). I loved the Lake George area, and just half-n-hour spurt to the mountains in Vermont. Damn, I wish I lived near there again.

Congrats on the new Busa. Mine is just 3 weeks young, and still waiting for this crap weather to pass.
