Alberta, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington & BC

I just got back from an annual trip into the States. Six of went, tents & sleeping bags. We went from Calgary AB to: Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, BC and back into Alberta. We did 4335 Kms. We rode the twisties from a top Lewiston, Hell's Canyon, the Fossil-Shaniko 218 highway, Oregon coast highway 101, up through Washington into BC. The trip was awesome. Unfortunately leaving the Oregon coast a buddy on a Buell hit a deer. We patched him up, got his bike running and rode to Portland. He flew home from there leaving his bike at a Harley shop. Surprisingly he has no broken bones. His bike will most likely be written off.

Fantastic trip! Glad your buddy was OK. We have had some very serious injuries around here due to collisions with deer. I stopped riding around my area after dark due to a parge and mobile deer population.
