Alen Head bolts ???

Hi all,

I want to get my father the Alan Sockets that he needs to fits the bolts on his bike, so he doesn't have to keep using the crappy "L's" wrenches. I'm not sure on what sizes they are. His bike is a "09" Busa.

I know there are three different sizes.

the smallest is the ones that hold on the fairings
the middle is the bolt that holds on the seat.
the largest is the two bolts that are in the place where the cargo nubs used to be ( now they are just blanks).

If anyone knows the sizes that would be great, so I can grab them soon for fathers day!!!

Thanks all:bowdown:

Go get him a multi pack of metric T handle Allen wrenches.
The sizes you need are 3-4-5-6 mm for the fairings and most other bolts on bike but the kit should come with a couple smaller and maybe one larger.
Like 20-30 bucks you'll be good.

They should look somewhat like this and will also fit all the other bolts like the caliper bolt you see it in.

Hey Blanca, Where did you get your set? Buddy of mine inherited a set very similar to yours and I love them. I've been looking everywhere for that T style set and no where around me has them.

It was either Lowes or Sears?
With the blue handle I wanna say Lowes but can't for sure.

get a set of metric allen head sockets for your 3/8" drive - Costs about the same as the set of t-handles and if/when you need to use them on a bolt with a specifies torque setting (like most metric bike cam covers, etc), you won't be guessing.

Mine are craftsman from Sears - think the set 3mm -- 12mm was 15 bucks
