Any of you guys tell me how accurate the reference marks are on the busa........If they are accurate then my new busa is off alignment......Let me know.......thanks

They are not accurate, I believe - mine were not.
Search for alignment and do the string alignment method.

I just did mine last night.  I used a fine point sharpee (permanent marker that marks on almost anything) ... and marked off where the back edge of the axle bracket (for lack of a better name) was in realtion to the swing arm.  I measured it as I turned the jack bolt.  I did this on both sides and made sure I moved both sides the same.  I also kept a note (sketch) of where the back of the bracket was in realtion to the tick marks on the swingarm ... noting where it was before I started and where I moved it to (on my bike the back edge of the bracket is at the half way mark of the fourth tick mark from the back ... they were not exactly the same on both sides originally but I kept them the same relationship to each other from the original position ... gosh that sounds confusing)

I rode it in to work this morning and everything seemed OK but I'm going to do the string alignment tonight and see how it looks.

just get yourself a good caliper at Sears for around $50.00. Digital of course.

You can get it down to 1/1000 of an inch.
