Close to 60 in Ohio today, Time for her maiden 06 ride.

Dead......Dead............Dead............Absolutly nothin.
Even worse, can't seem to find my battery charger, knew I should of bought a battery tender.

So, instead of riding, I put her up on the stands, stripped her of some clothing and changed her oil with some Yummy Silkolene, a nice new K&N filter, and a new Muzzy Fan blade.

Now I just need to get her charged before buttoning her back up to make sure there's no leaks.

So on to a couple of questions,
1st, how do you remove the temp sensor (i assume) at the top left of the radiator?  I could not for the life of me figure out how to undo the connector, so I just fought the fan around it.

2nd, I want to adjust the headlight while I have it apart, for those that have done this, exactly how far out should you measure for where the light first hits the road?  Or is there another way?

Thank, and I dispise all of you that got to ride today.

great ride here in mass. today. . next winter i would recommend pulling the battery and keeping it somewhere warm in your house. charge it periodically and leave the 2 bolts out of the seat for easy access.

To remove the plug, simply press down on the top part (I think) with the thumb, grip the opposite side with your index, and pull.

The plugs have locks on them. It's just a matter of pressing down the peg to get the lock to release.

RE: Headlight:

Adjust so that the lower tip of the beam hits the road at least three to four feet in front of you. I'd go for three.
