Alternative colour schemes

That pic is funny as hell!!! I know what you mean about the coulour scheme though. It is nice to change up the schemes and look at your favourite bike a new way. You never know when you'll surprise yourself with. I look forward to any other outrageous schemes. Did everyone see the bike with the extended swingarm in black and chrome? That's what I call taking the initiative to individualise a bike!!!

I would like to see the aluminum pieces anodized in a nice olive drab.

Of course DaZee you must be offering an artic
color scheme.

I can speak for Maui, Dirty Pete, and myself that we are ever in debt to you for painting Dirty Pete's Dakar-Busa in that desert paint scheme. The way you implemented the Jim Beam sponsor logos was very nice, the Distillery should be pleased.

Just wondering if any of you have a good side profile picture of the silver coloured Busa from the Tokyo motor show. This would be the ideal base for trying colour overlays on.

turbo1300 got the idea, by February my bike will have all carbon cowling and will be left unpainted, this is what I will use for fast trips through the twisties etc, not going to matter too much then if it gets a bit scratched. The original cowl to be repainted for shows, meetings and general fun days out.

Gotta completely agree with suiciderider. when it comes to the look of your bike, it's what makes you happy.

Dazee a bike with unpainted carbonF skins would look great...look expensive too...but won't it just all shatter if you lay it down?

You suggest it won't matter if it's scraped, but won't it just break if it's scraped?

A little too much Beam ? :(

As in the Silver Busa with the black frame, forks, and canisters.

Check you mail :)

I have enough problems with cages not seeing me without making it worse with camo. Even a black&grey would be risky around here.

Of course if I were on Hayabusaland border patrol looking for escaping virgins, camo would make sense.

Lyle you said you didn't want virgins. Check your new assignment and advise whether satisfactory.

The paint job...I love the way it complements the Hayabusa's flowing and elegant lines.

Not.

OK I'm getting the feeling that the colour scheme I suggested is not too easy on the eyes :) Email me your suggestions/pictures at dazee@dazee.net or post them online on my message board www.dazee.net/discus

Ok off out now to get some new crayons. Gotta have something to do until my busa returns.

dazee do they have a iridum screen over there for the busa? hopefully my bike will be done by Jan. CF w/twin headlights. does any one make a carbon fiber tail section that uses both seats?

I think its perfect . We'll need a dozen or so for the argentine take over . Then put 'em back to original when we succeed.

...I thought that in Japan they just tossed blemished or slightly dated bikes in the recycle bin and started fresh...
