It should indeed...although the rear cover (hump) is plastic....

Yes it should, I unfortunately didn't know this until 2 years after I bought my bike so I lost the chance to get mine.

ok if the dealer is saying it doesn't come with the hum should i be worried. as far as it not bieng brand new? and if they broke it and just put the seat on can i buy one? i feel it should be supplied with the purchase of the bike imo and thanks for the replies

You could contact Suzuki to be certain...but others have bought new Hayabusas and got both the seat and rear hump....

I bought mine used from a dealer and there was no back seat so they ordered one from Suzuki and sent it to me.......and my bike is an '09.

I would call a couple other dealers in the area and tell them your thinking of buying one and ask them if both are included and use that with your dealer. I know everyone that I've talked to that bought new got both with them. Like Bumblebee said welcome to the forum and be sure to post up some pics and introduce yourself in the new owners section. This is a great place with lots of knowledge for all things hayabusa.

If there's no hump, tell him to order one unless it's some kind of a great deal he's offering. Then just buy one off of Partzilla or Toledo East Honda or someone like that. It's probably about $200 with shipping.

@toncrell I got the ebay version for about $50. Fitment was not good so I forced it with a heat gun and am happy 2 yrs later

Don‘t ‘pester’ him just tell him what you want. When I bought mine I flew 400 miles to get it and told the dealer to place the rear seat on as I would be riding it back home 400 miles and would put the hump in my tail bag. They all come with both, at least they did in 06.
