An Hayabusa with 4 wheels... The Megabusa!

Hi all,

I'm Andrea from Rome in Italy, I recently bought a Megabusa, for who doesn't know it, it's a Seven style car based on Colin Chapman (Lotus creator) project, with the lovely 'busa engine in it.

This is a little video of me playing around some roads with a friend, chasing an Opel Speedster Turbo with some 280hp.

So... Why am I here? Because the engine failed and I'm looking for some advise about a rebuild.

The problem is with the bearing of the 2nd cylinder conrod

I have to change the conrod and the crankshaft... So I was wondering to give it some more ponies and looking for some advice about that.

I took a look at APE site and sent them an email, but I would be also very grateful to hear any kind of suggestion from you.

I'm tempted to install the 2nd gen crankshaft and the exhaust cam swap. The engine is running with Westfiled header to suit car installation, and a reverie airbox, some heavier clutch springs, a cutoff on the gear linkage and an old Power Commander unit.

Let me learn some about the best and REALIABLE mods for this great engine.

Thank you all

Andrea.
