The Army dropped support of the Pro Stock Motorcycle teams owned by Shumacher in September. This left Angelle and Antron Brown with a contract the expired in 2007 and not much of a chance for renewal. Antron is working on a NHRA top fuel license. There was speculation that Angelle might hook up with George Bryce again. Karl Klement released Peggy Llewelyn at the first of the month. Speculation shifted to the possibility of Karl hiring Angelle or Chip (another wild story). Peggy was kicked to the curb after finishing 4th place in points, a win in Dallas that put her into the new NASCAR style countdown. Now, I'd like to see Peggy get picked up by George Bryce.
