Yeah..... Hey.... Send me $2,900 and I'll send you a $9000 dollar bike....... i promise!!!

Yeah, he said that in the ad...it is supposedly his other bike....the one he is keeping.

Also check out the other items... completely different feel to the writing (not to mention what's for sale).
No other items for sale currently, but past sales look like dolls/collectibles. Maybe its a guy using his g/f's account or something?

I guess I just don't get why someone would run a scam like this. Either people will think it's a scam because the price is too low and not bid, or he is gonna loose his Ebay priviledges by doing it and face having the cops come knocking on his door. When you fill out an account with Ebay, they have all your info, driver's license, address, credit card info, etc.

I wonder if he will respond to me question about coming to look at it or not.

He managed to steal someone's account. eBay will figure it out shortly and shut it down, hopefully. That's how most of them do. I did notice the Kanji on the right lower is completely different from the one on the left lower. That yellow Busa has been scammed many times in the past.

You would think ebay would get on this problem with as many scams as there on any given day ya can log on and have 6 0r 7 choices all around 3 grand

6 or 7 of the comments are from other users (SCAMers) who just post comments back and forth (10 or more times) to make the seller look credible.

SCAM!!!!!!

Interesting. when I checked it, there were about 15 "other items" listed for sale (and yeah, they were dolls and collectibles and such).

I hate these pieces of crap out there who do this sort of thing.

As far as ebay doing it, how many million items do they have listed at any moment? I'm suyre they'd do something if they could track it all, but I bet on their end it's a losing battle.

Caveat emptor.

Too Funny!  I came on to this forum last summer ready to buy a Busa from cycletrader.com for $3500.  Scam scam scam.  Everyone here told me to run. I had people from England sending me stories about how they had special selling privileges from Suzuki to sell busa's for $4500.  I had a guy in Chicago stating he just had to sell because his wife said so.  Couldn't ever really hook up with him- he just wanted me to trust him and put money into some UPS escrow account.  Very fishy.

I tried to get the various sellers to let me send someone over to look at the bike.  No can do... too busy... outta town that week...  And then the emails were in totally bad English!

It was funny after awhile.  RUN!

I ended up getting my 04 at the local dealer.  It's just funny to see others go through this.  Thanks everyone...
