ANOTHER exhaust question.

 I know there have been a lot. But, just bought a PPM Customs shorty exhaust. And, well, my kickstand hits it when it's up. I don't mind the sound of it. But, I was wondering if there are any other ones out there that don't do that. And I can't afford a Brock's.

I had the same problem,

Took and drilled and tapped a hole in the Kickstand ran a very small bolt in the hole to hold the stand off the exhaust.

Funny thing, when I bought my chrome Tribal stand it came with the Bolt in the Stand

If you don't get this changed you'll likely find your bike cutting out on bumps when the kickstand jumps down from not being in the full up position (speaking from experience). I had a local shop bend me some 6" mid pipes to resolve this. It also made the looks better as the tips don't stick out so much - they sweep back with the lines of the bike which also lessens the chance of dragging the tips when leaned over.

I don't think rotating it will help, since it's the same size all around. Right? Lol. Hm. Don't know anyone that can do the mid pipe. Hrm.

when I had a set of shorties on mine I bent the tab on the stand so when the stand was up the cut off switch was pressed in all the way.

you will get an "IN FOCUS" image if you back up from the subject matter a bit.. if you have too much other stuff in the shot when done, just crop it.. "fuzzygraphs" are hard to decipher..

Hope these look better.
