Another quick shifter thread. Sorry!

I recently got my MF flash, maybe things feel a bit ”quicker” with the QS but I’m still having issues downshifting, most of the time I try to pop down a gear and it simply won’t do it. I can feel the ignition cut and nothing happens, it’s so infuriating.

I’m starting to think I’m doing something wrong, although I’m not sure how that could be. I’ve tried QS1, QS2, higher rpms vs lower rpm… I searched and searched
and saw nothing specific to down shifting so here I am.

According to the owners manual down shifts need to happen on a closed throttle. If I'm downshifting and it doesn't warrant a closed throttle I just revmatch downshift the old school way. Without using the QS.

The 2017-2024 Gsxr1k will factory quickshift down, and up works great.
It will even qs at low rpm, but the higher the revs the quicker and smoother the shifts are.
The Busa's qs is based off of Gsxr R&D too, and why I can't belive that the idiots that now run Suzuki can't seem to get it right on the Busa, and after 4 years have done nothing about it.

That’s what I assumed, tried hanging the revs a bit and same thing.
