I met this guy the day before his crash, nice kid. Apparently the R6 bug bit him, he was f'ing around in a residential area, lost control of a wheelie and slammed into a parked truck. Weird thing is, I think that is my nephew's truck.

RIP brother. Wish I would have talked to you more.

There have been way too many bike deaths, use your heads guys. My riding buddies have hung up the keys for a while, this was right next door, manner of speaking.

Of the 4 new riders that bought 600cc bikes this last year, all 4 of them have now crashed. the CBR-rr's all wheelie too easy, that was how they all did themselves in.

One of them wants to buy my Busa, I would love the money but hate the thought of this stupid kid killing himself or even worse someone else. How could I live with that? They just do not listen.

So sorry to hear about this......... Everyone needs to learn from tragic events like these...... Prayers sent for our fallen brother and his loved ones.

THis is sad. I notice that there is an underlying thought of most people that purchase 600's that they are safe starting off with a "small" bike. End of the day it is not the size of the bike that matters. Riding period, leaves us all open to the possibilty of an accident. Those of us who have been done at least once or twice and are still around to type about it should be mindful to count our blessings.

Why must guys get stupid in residential areas...

Ride out to the boonies and have your fun. Ride responsibly in the city!

My condolences to family and friends. I also feel bad for the guy who owned the truck. Some people should not be riding bikes....
